EveryMite, Pea and Avo Turmeric Wrap
This yummy recipe is from Candy at Nourished and Flourished, Sydney.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1.5 tsp psyllium husk powder
- 2.5 tbsp unflavoured protein powder
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup frozen green peas, thawed
- 1 tablespoon vegan cheese
- 1/3 avocado, mashed with lemon juice, salt, and pepper
- 2 teaspoons EveryMite
Method:
- Mix the oats, turmeric, pepper, psyllium, protein powder, and water together and let sit for 5 mins for the oats to absorb the liquid.
- Form a dough and flatten with your hand to make a thin flatbread shape.
- Fry with a bit of oil on both sides until golden brown.
- Mash the peas together with the vegan cheese.
- Spread EveryMite over the wrap, top with the pea mixture, and then the avocado mixture.
- Roll into a wrap and enjoy!
- Serves one.
